Then there was the spark and that spark was the argument over whether to use Wordpress or Mephisto.

When Big Rock Candy Mountain was conceived there was one simple stipulation to its design. That is to say, every page of the site would have six donate buttons. One for the site itself and five others linking to donate pages for five unique and in the administration’s eyes important charities.

It’s not much; it wasn’t a pledge of any of our profits. What it was though was an attempt to help them make more money. We didn’t ask them for anything other than link-thru donate buttons.

They ignored us.

We offered to try and give them just another avenue to milk those that have for things that need and they ignored us.

You know who you are.

You make us doubt what you’re trying to achieve.

We’re not going to chase you.

So here’s the deal.

If any of those charities we contacted would like to reconsider, get in touch.

If any other charities wish to not shoot themselves in the foot and would like to be brought for consideration to the Admin to be one of those five donate buttons. Please, throw us an email to;
